I thought I'd paint them an off-white and then lightly sand the edges. I copied a page from one of my hubby's magazines, Countryside Magazine,then copied pictures of butterflies on this page. I used a heavy card stock in a marble pattern. I cut out the butterflies to fit into the frames, put the glass back in, and it was as easy as that.
I had a wall in my hall bathroom that was small and needed a little something. The top of the bathroom wall is black so the frames stand-out nicely.
